Our Natural Dye
Our beautiful and creative colours are sourced from merely from nature. They are from our immediate surroundings like our tiny Tokyo garden and kitchen shelfs, local parks, croft of parent’s in-law etc. Our dying policy is to use only non-edible parts of vegetables. We are too sorry for wasting food! Here are some examples of natural dyes;

SPRING: Dandelion, Dokudami(Houttuynia),
SUMMER: Indigo, Kuzu (Japanese arrowroot), Bush Killer (Cayratia Japonica)
AUTUMN: Acorns, Tinted Cherry Leaves, Sweet Olives 
WINTER: Osmanthus,
ALL YEAR ROUND:
Madder, Onion, Clove
